Our Proposals
Key Benefits
Our proposals at Pauletts Lane will generate a number of key benefits for the new neighbourhood and the surrounding areas. These include:

New Homes for Local Needs: Approximately 65 homes are proposed.
Green Spaces for recreation: A natural recreational greenspace is proposed on a significant portion of the site for leisure and play.
Designed for Wildlife: The landscape strategy supports biodiversity with native and pollinator-friendly planting, hedgehog-friendly fencing, and habitat-rich green corridors connecting to a wider network of green infrastructure in north Totton.
Sustainable and Resilient: Features such as swales and attenuation basins will manage rainwater naturally while creating pleasant, nature-based spaces.
Well-Connected Location: The site is close to shops, schools, sport facilities, and public transport, with walking and cycling routes linking homes to Totton, The New Forest and beyond.
Sensitive Design: The layout protects existing trees and ensures the development integrates appropriately into its surroundings.

Contributions: financial contributions will be made by Bargate through the Section 106 Agreement towards the improvement of community facilities, such as education, sports facilities and road improvements (subject to discussions with New Forest District Council and Hampshire County Council).
